In the Hut of Baba Yaga

Yeshe and Phoenix create a beautiful, haunting ceremony in honor of Baba Yaga. Her medicine can be bitter, but it is effective. Her wisdom is unarguable and universal, like the truth of a steely-eyed grandmother who has seen too much. Her gift is not always readily visible to the naked eye, but to the inner eye it is unmistakable. She is the ancient Maiden, the barren Mother, the sexy Crone- limitless in all her forms. She is Queen of the Forest and she welcomes you to her Chicken-Legged Hut. Do you dare taste what's cooking in her pot? Meet under the wisdom tree.

Radical Self-Love Moves Us

Come and join Tease Blossom, one of the premier movers, shakers, and creators from the South Bay as she leads a movement workshop focused on connecting with our radical selves and embracing more love for this body we exist in currently. This class is designed for all bodies - regardless of gender presentation, gender identity, dance experience, physical body limitations, or musical awareness abilities. Meet in the Grand Theatre.

Learn to incorporate movement into your ritual with focused intention and discover a much more powerful experience. We’ll look at the parts of various rituals from start to end, and how different sacred movements (gestures and dance steps) can be applied. Meet in the Grand Theatre.

In your inner Sanctuary, your Shadow House, your School, and your Temple, you embrace, confront, teach, learn and pray with the deepest parts of you. In this workshop, we will begin the journey that lasts a lifetime: the journey of self-discovery. Meet in the Pavilion.

Apotropaic Charms and Ghost Fences: Celtic Magics for Protection

Morpheus Ravenna presents: The Celtic cultures preserve a rich and ancient body of magical lore including a wealth of protective charms and spells. We find poetic charms and protective incantations, apotropaic devices and spirit traps, ghost fences and spirit guardians. These many forms draw on the traditions of poetic magics, spirit alliances, and the power of the Otherworld. This class draws knowledge from folk tradition, archaeological study, early literature, and personal experience, to explore tools and strategies for protective magic drawn from Celtic cultures.

2:30-3:45pm - Performance

Sharon Knight & Winter

Festival Favorites Sharon Knight and Winter are internationally touring musicians in the mythic-Celtic vein. Their penchant for combining fierce and gutsy bravado with ethereal beauty, a hearty dose of fantastical lyrics, and an obvious love of storytelling has inspired their own style, “Neofolk Romantique”. This often sound less Celtic and more “Folktales that ran away with the Faeries at the turn of the century and took cover in an old trunk bound for the circus, which was then commandeered by pirates.” Meet in the Grand Theatre.

4-5:15pm - Performance

Stellamara Acoustic Trio

Internationally acclaimed world music ensemble Stellamara premiers electro-acoustic sets emphasizing their signature passionate rhythms and eastern melodies with dramatic orchestral sections, otherworldly ambience and deep bass grooves. Meet in the Grand Theatre.

Captivated by the realms of myth and dream, Pandemonaeon fuses Celtic, Scandinavian, and Middle Eastern folk traditions with driving rock, powerful vocals, and metal accents, imbuing their songs with rich archetypal imagery and creating soundscapes both modern and timeless. At times haunting and stark, at times driving and passionate, the result is deeply evocative. Meet in the Grand Theatre.
